2023 – Present

Growing up in KC, I’ve been a life long Chiefs’ fan. Although it wasn’t until 1993 when we lost the AFC championship to the Buffalo Bills 30-13 that I realized just how much I loved the game. I was absolutely crushed that we lost, but I was even more bummed out because I knew it meant an early end to all the excitement generated around our team and in our city. I love football season. I love going to the games, I love watching them on the TV and listening to them on the radio. There is something very comforting about the announcers’ voices on Sunday afternoon that will pacify even the worst case of “Sunday Scaries”. Mostly though, I love the energy around sports games, the adrenaline, THE FOOD, family and friends. Sports have a way of bringing all kinds of people, from all walks of life together to participate and celebrate in a common interest.

2024 was incredibly special for me. Having recently joined our Visit Kansas City account's creative team, I got to play a major roll in hyping up football fans all over the world (before and after the Super Bowl). I helped create several tactics across a variety of media buys with a sense of urgency that rivaled the energy of the game itself AND it was a blast!

Below are a couple of videos I art directed which played on social and ESPN (before and after the game) along with some digital billboards I created (that ran before and during the game) throughout the Power & Light District of downtown Kansas City.
